Beatles tribute band to perform at Arts Plaza

"1964" . . . The Tribute The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Foundation and Strut Productions present a tribute to the Beatles when "1964"... The Tribute takes the stage at 8 p.m. Sat., May 6 in the Fred Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

"1964"...The Tribute takes audiences on a musical journey through early Beatlemania. They are hailed by critics and fans alike as "the most authentic and endearing Beatles tribute in the world," according to show organizers. Choosing songs from the pre-Sergeant Pepper era, "1964" re-creates an early '60s live Beatles concert, with period instruments, clothing, hairstyles and onstage banter.
