Free women's health screenings offered at Kaiser

Free women's health screenings for underinsured and uninsured women are scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Sat., April 8 at Kaiser Permanente, 365 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

The first 100 women may receive breast self-exam and breast cancer education, a breast exam by a healthcare provider, a mammogram and a pap smear, blood pressure screening, cholesterol and diabetes screening and health education materials.

Mobile mammography services will be provided by Elizabeth Center for Cancer Detection, Los Angeles. Medical Diagnostic Imaging will offer offsite mammography services.

The event is co-sponsored by the Conejo Free Clinic and Kaiser Permanente Thousand Oaks.
