Award-winning artist paints her heritage


BILL SPARKES/Acorn Newspapers SELF-PORTRAIT-Masami Fukumoto of Newbury Park High School earned a Memorial Award for her painting titled "My Heritage"during the 37th annual Senior Art Show. More than 183 entries from 75 students are on display at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery, 2331 Borchard Road, next to the city library. The exhibit continues 1 to 5 p.m. through tomorrow, Fri., March 31.
