Wu-lien Wei The Thousand Oaks Republican Women Federated will host a special luncheon beginning with an 11:30 a.m. reception on Thurs., April 6 at Sherwood Country Club, 320 W. Stafford Road, Thousand Oaks. The luncheon and program will begin at noon.

Guests include National Federation Republican Women President Beverly Davis and Dr. Wu-lien Wei, director general of Taipei Economic and Cultural Affairs-Los Angeles, who will discuss "Relations Between Taiwan and the U.S."

Also on the program is Capt. Steve Chealander, CEO of flight operations for American Airlines, a former military aide to former president Ronald Reagan on Air Force One.

Musical entertainment will be provided by A Class Act from the Westlake High School choral music department, under the direction of Alan Rose.

The cost is $32 for students and $49 for members and guests.
