Local students named to dean's lists

The following local residents have been named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 semester at Azusa Pacific University, a Christian evangelical university in the San Gabriel Valley.

Newbury Park: Justine Barnett, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Barnett. She's a graduate of Newbury Park High School. Adam Broughton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Broughton. Nathaniel Phillips, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Phillips.

Santa Rosa Valley: Thousand Oaks High School graduates Hayley and Tanisha Liston, the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Liston.

Thousand Oaks: Matt VanGent, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel VanGent. He's a graduate of Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village. Thousand Oaks High School graduates Sally Kappen, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Kappen; David Anderson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Anderson; and Stephanie Enright, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vic Enright. Christopher Handlos, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Handlos. Tamara Cortez, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cortez. Danielle Zuziak, a graduate of Westlake High School. Melanie Lipari, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Lipari. Daniel Ireland, the son of Jeffrey Ireland.

Alison Millner of Thousand Oaks, a junior at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, has been placed on the deans' honor list for the fall 2005 semester.

Jill Savla, the daughter of Bharati and Jadavji Savla of Thousand Oaks, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 semester at Washington University in St. Louis, where the Thousand Oaks High School graduate is enrolled in the university's College of Arts and Sciences.
