Girl Scouts send some treats overseas


THINKING OF THE TROOPS-Girl  Scout Troop  No.  478  from Weathersfield Elementary School in Thousand Oaks is boxing up cookies with Sharyn and Philip Ochoa of Federal Defense Industries, which helped with the shipping. SENDING SWEETS TO MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM OVERSEAS-Kaylee Qualls,  Victoria  Gautereaux,  Jackie  Holt,  Alexandra  Seligman  and Kennedy Copeland are preparing to ship more than 300 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to American soldiers overseas. The girls got donations from consumers who gave extra money to remember the military. The Scouts also included personal care items, cards and letters. They said "thank you" to residents who gave money.
