Contestants, vendors sought for Chili Cook-off
Conejo Valley Days' 31st annual Chili Cook-off, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks, is currently accepting contestant and vendor applications.
The cook-off will be staged from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., April 30 at Conejo Creek Park, behind the Thousand Oaks Library.
More than 50 contestants will participate in this Conejo Valley Days tradition.
The chili selected as the "best chili" by a panel of judges from the International Chili Society will advance to the 2006 World Championships.

The cook-off will include music, food, entertainment and a children's play area.
