St. Paschal Baylon's Men's Club and the Rev. Dave Heney will host the annual Police and Fire Awards Dinner at 7 p.m. Mon., April 3 in the church's Thomas Aquinas Hall at 155 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.

The honorees include Det. Sgt. Steven Sagely as Officer of the Year, Capt. Richard Sauer as Fireman of the Year, and Joe O'Brien as the Men's Club Member of Honor. The men will be recognized for their service and commitment to their community.

Ed Krol, former Men's Club president, will serve as master of ceremonies. Award presenters will include current Men's Club President Forrest Andrews and Mayor Dennis Gillette. Representatives from the offices of Ventura County Supervisor Linda Parks, state Sen. Tom McClintock, state Assemblywoman Audra Strickland and Congressman Elton Gallegly will also give awards.
