The Healing Tree is a new apothecary and tea bar that will celebrate its grand opening with a tea party at 4 p.m. Sun., March 26 at 2711 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

The store "offers expert advice on traditional herbal medicine" from China, India, South America and America. A "calming atmosphere" surrounds the tea bar, which serves health drinks ranging from teas to tonics and smoothies to soy coffees.

The store also offers body care products, home fragrances, books, gifts and other items.
