Lifeguard training offered by CRPD

Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD) will offer a course in lifeguard training.

Classes will be at Newbury Park High School and the Borchard Community Center in Newbury Park.

The American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification course is for students who are strong swimmers and at least 15 years old. The program includes first aid and CPR instruction.

This four-day course will meet at various times and locations from April 7 to 10. All sessions must be attended to obtain certification.

There's a $145 registration fee and a $35 book fee.
