The Thousand Oaks High School Dance Team recently competed at the United Spirit Association Regionals. The team won two first places, in large lyrical and large jazz dance.

The team scored second place for medium jazz and two third places, for intermediate jazz and small lyrical.

The small jazz team received a fifth place and the large hip-hop team earned sixth place.

Soloists who ranked well were Mariah Murphy winning first place overall, Amanda Houdek in sixth place for her group, Sarah Stark in sixth place overall.

The team will compete this weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center for the USA Nationals.
