Students make dean's list
     The 2005 fall semester dean%27s honor list at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks named 393 students, who qualified by maintaining a 3.5 grade point average in their academic subjects.

NPHS Drumline wins
     The Newbury Park High School Panther Drumline won first-place honors in the Southern California Percussion Alliance%27s (SCPA) regional competition on Feb. 25 at Valencia High School. The team placed first among the 18 Class A high schools that competed.
