Temple Etz Chaim preschool earns accreditation
Temple Etz Chaim Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) has earned re-accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation's leading organization of early childhood professionals.
"We're proud to be accredited by NAEYC and recognized for our commitment to reaching the highest professional standards," said Debbie Blumenthal, center director.
"NAEYC accreditation lets families in our community know that children in our program are getting the best care and early learning experiences. Our ECEC environment is designed to create an atmosphere that enables children to grow at their own individual pace. We work to help our children grow socially, physically, academically, and spiritually through a program rich in stimulating activities," said Blumenthal.
NAEYC created its accreditation program in 1985 to set professional standards for early childhood education, and to help families identify high-quality child care and early education programs.
Programs are accredited by NAEYC for a five-year period. Temple Etz Chaim's ECEC now has accreditation through August 2010.
