Teen Center offers classes

The Thousand Oaks Teen Center's spring season of youth programming will get underway the week of March 20. Class fees range from $10 to $40. Registration may be made online at thousandoaksteencenter.com or by calling (805) 494-5156 after 2 p.m. Brenda Coleman is the teen services director.

The center is at 1375 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks, adjacent to the Thousand Oaks Library.

The programs available this spring include sports, dance, learning a musical instrument, art lessons, computer skills (beginning and advanced), special workshops and excursions (several are planned during the Conejo Valley Unified School District's spring break; these range in price from $30 to $50).

Thousand Oaks youth are invited to look into the many possibilities, from a cotillion workshop to fencing lessons, instruction in stained glass, computer art and self defense, to learning how to play the drums-or how to land a job.
