Larkin to challenge Strickland

Bob Larkin, a former Ventura County Republican Party chairman, has filed papers to oppose state Assemblywoman Audra Strickland (R-Thousand Oaks) in the 37th Assembly district.

Larkin, who lives in Westlake Village, owns an insurance agency. He and his wife, Donna, have six children and five grandchildren.

The primary election will be held on Tues., June 6.
