Gala to honor heart supporters
Thousand Oaks-based Cardiac Kids Have Heart (CKHH) will host its second annual awards gala dinner and auction night from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Sat., March 4 at the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center, 27040 Malibu Hills Road, Calabasas.
The event will feature a cocktail hour, dinner, silent and live auctions, raffle and music, in addition to the awards ceremony.
Honorees include pediatric cardiologist David Ferry, MD, (CKHH Foundation Humanitarian Award) and representatives from Colina Middle School and Westlake High School who have implemented the use of automatic external defibrillators on their campuses through the CKHH defibrillator grant program.
To be announced at the event are recipients of the CKHH Founders’ Hearts of Gold award.
