The Thousand Oaks High School dance team began its 2006 competition season at the recent Esperanza Dance Showcase, earning several awards.

The medium jazz dance won first place. The small jazz dance won third place. Medium hip hop and large jazz each earned second place finishes.

Prize-winning soloists included: freshman Mariah Murphy (first place), freshman Jordan Jones (third place), junior Sarah Stark (third place) and fourth place finishes were posted by freshman Jessica Hren and sophomore Ariella Seltzer.
