A trio of Agoura senior wrestlers placed during last weekend’s Montclair Tournament.

Devin Conroy finished in third place in the 130-pound weight division. Matthew Bronstein finished tied for fifth at 135 pounds. Ryan Canino tied for seventh in the 140-pounds weight class.

AHS head coach Dennis Ritterbush said it was a fine allaround effort from the three young men.

“They did a great job,” Ritterbush said. “We went there to see how those guys might do in CIF. . . .It’s a seeding ploy for the upcoming tournaments.”

On Saturday, Agoura will compete in the Marmonte League Finals at Simi Valley High School. The meet begins at 9 a.m. and is expected to last throughout the afternoon.
