Hyatt Westlake Plaza in Westlake Village will participate in the fourth annual National Groundhog Job Shadow Day on Fri., Feb. 3 by hosting students from various area high schools.

Students will have an opportunity to shadow employees in positions including general manager, front desk clerk, chef and concierge as they go through their typical workday.

Following lunch, students will conclude their “work day” with a presentation of their experiences and a follow-up discussion with various Hyatt employees.

“This is a great chance for students to experience all that goes on in a hotel behind the scenes and get a taste of the opportunities in the hospitality industry,” said Tim Flodin, general manager of Hyatt Westlake.
