Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA), with support from Mercedes-Benz dealers nationwide including Calabasas Motorcars Inc. in Calabasas and Silver Star A.G. Ltd. in Thousand Oaks, will provide $1.5 million in scholarships to students who are the first generation in their families to attend college. The scholarship program is called “Drive Your Future.” It will grant $10,000 scholarships to 100 high school seniors across the country who demonstrate financial need and exceptional achievement in academic performance, leadership, and school and community activities.

MBUSA will also grant $10,000 scholarships to 50 high school seniors across the country as part of “Drive Your Future Performance Awards,” for students who plan to pursue a degree in music, theater, dance or film.
