Conejo Players to present comedy ‘Beau Jest’
The Conejo Players Theatre will present “Beau Jest,” a comedy by James Sherman, from June 17 through July 17 at their facility, 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks. Showtimes are 8 p.m.

Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sunday matinees on June 19 and July 17.
Ticket prices are $14 Thursdays, $16 Fridays and Sundays and $18 Saturdays and opening night.
“Beau Jest” is a romantic comedy about a woman struggling to find the balance between pleasing her parents and following her heart.
Sarah Goldman, a Jewish woman living in Chicago, must hide her boyfriend, Chris Kringle, from her very Jewish parents who want her to marry a nice Jewish boy. She hires escort Bob Schroeder to pretend to be her Jewish boyfriend at a family dinner. But Bob isn’t Jewish and things get complicated when Sarah and her family fall in love with Bob.
