Universalist services will honor all holidays The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will offer holiday services this weekend to honor multiple faith traditions. All events are free and, except as noted, will be at the Goebel Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. Christmas Eve services begin “Would You Like to Hold the Baby?”, an intergenerational pageant created by musician Joyce Poley that celebrates the spiritual truths and metaphorical beauty found in the nativity story. The service will close with a candlelighting ritual. At 8 p.m. Sat., Dec. 24 will be a contemplative service on the Temple Etz Chaim, 1080 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. At 10 a.m. Sun., Dec. 25, the Fellowship’s lay ministers will celebrate the miracle of Hanukkah in stories and music at an intergenerational service.
