The Arts Council of the Conejo Valley presents “Open to Interpretation: Abstractionism” from Jan. 14 to March 26 at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts Galleria, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

A reception will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sat., Jan. 14. Viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free.

The show features artwork from local artists including Joe Di Donato, Gisele Friedman, Theo-dora Ilowitz, Arene Mead, Peggy Pownall, Roland Roy, Frank Sardisco, Geri Schonberg, Alix Thayer, Connie Tunick and Louisa Wallce Jacobs.
