Park District to host holiday golf, tennis camps

Conejo Recreation and Park District will host the Junior Golf Academy Holiday Camp from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wed., Jan. 4 and Thurs., Jan. 5 at Los Robles Golf Course, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

LPGA professional Sally Quinlan will teach the fundamentals of golf.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 9 to 15. The cost is $99 for residents and $119 for out-ofdistrict patrons.

The Total Tennis Academy offers full and half-day camps for girls and boys ages 8 to 18. Campers are grouped according to age and ability. Sessions are Tues. through Fri., Dec. 27 through Dec. 30 or Jan. 3 to 6.

Half-day tennis classes cost $110 and will meet from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The cost for full-day classes is $176, meeting from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The tennis classes will meet at California Lutheran University tennis courts at Pioneer Avenue and Faculty Street in Thousand Oaks.
