Thousand Oaks Teen Center to offer winter classes

The Thousand Oaks Teen Center has announced its winter program season. Most classes start the week of Jan. 16. Each class is priced between $10 and $40 and will run for six or eight weeks. To register, go to www.crpd.org or please call (805) 494-5156 after 2 p.m.

Sports offered will include coed fencing, girls indoor volleyball, boys five-on-five basketball, Texas hold ‘em, billiards instruction, dodgeball, high school boys basketball league and indoor soccer.

Girls activities include makeup and hair design, runway to success, image and personal development, girls five-on-five basketball and indoor volleyball.

Music and dance sessions include vocal performing, hip hop, guitar, drums, salsa and swing. Rock ’n’ Roll High will also be offered. Classes in the arts will covedrawing and composition, watercolors, stained glass, drama clubceramics, video production, videediting and American Sign Language. The center will offer classes ikeyboarding, website designcomputer art and gamemaking. Other workshops are alsplanned.
