The Friendship Circle is a program for children with special needs. Teenage volunteers are paired with the children on a weekly basis for ongoing friendship and fun. The Friendship Circle will celebrate Chanukah by constructing a 6-foot Lego menorah during the annual Chanukah Friendship Carnival from 1 to 3 p.m. Sun., Dec. 18 at 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills.

“The Lego menorah allows the children to learn about the holiday in an interactive way,” said Rochel Bryski, the group’s coordinator. The program will also feature a carnival, olive press demonstration and holiday treats.

Upon completion of the Lego menorah, special lanterns will be affixed and the menorah will be kindled.
