The goal: Suicide prevention among young people

Filming will commence in January in the Thousand Oaks area. If selected, actors under 18 will be required to obtain a signed parental release.

Auditions will be conducted through Sun., Dec. 18 in Thousand Oaks.

“Archie’s Class Project (aka My Suicide)” is the story of a lonely media geek whose world turns upside down when he announces in video class that he’s considering killing himself on camera for his class project. Immediately Archie is confronted by students, teachers, parents and counselors, all eager to give him advice. Through his examination of death Archie comes to understand the meaning of life and friendship.
