Holiday crafts included in YMCA winter camps

Activities run from Dec. 19 to 30

The Conejo Valley and Triunfo YMCAs will offer day camp during the upcoming winter school break. Camps will be conducted from Dec. 19 to 30.

The Conejo Valley YMCA offers childcare at Mountain Meadows Elementary School, 4200 Mountain Meadows Drive, Moorpark. A shuttle pick-up/dropoff is available from the Conejo Valley YMCA, 4031 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks. Parents can drop their children off at the Y from 7 to 9 a.m. and pick them up at the Y from 4 to 6 p.m.   The Triunfo YMCA childcare sites are located at elementary schools throughout Agoura Hills, Oak Park and Westlake Village. Kindergarten through secondgrade childcare will be at Yerba Buena Elementary, 5844 Larboard Lane, Agoura Hills, and grades three through six will be at Sumac Elementary, 6050 N. Calmfield Ave., Agoura Hills. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.   Campers will take part in group games and holiday crafts and science and nature projects. Scheduled activities include ice-skating, bowling and field trips to local attractions.   All camps offer extended childcare. Parents can elect to have their children participate daily, weekly or for the full two weeks. The cost per week is $150 and $35 per day (daily rate for Conejo Valley YMCA only).
