Students of La Reina High School in T.O. are adopting 36 families this Christmas through the adopt-a-family program coordinated by the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in L.A.

The families reside in the downtown skid row area.

Religion classes will collect gifts through Mon., Dec. 12 and delivery to the cathedral is planned for the following day. Students, parents and staff will also participate in the gift distribution on Sat., Dec. 17. For more information, call (805) 495-6494, ext. 382.
