The Gypsy Hombres will perform a holiday concert at 8 p.m. Fri., Dec. 9 at the Museum of Latin American Art, 628 Alamitos Ave., Long Beach.

The group has reworked the Christmas classics in the style of legendary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt.

The band blends traditional jazz with swing and waltz as well as South American music (such as the tango) to create their “vibrant, dynamic” sound.

This concert marks their West Coast debut.
