Church to host Christmas concerts

The congregations of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will present a Christmas concert at 6 and again at 8 p.m. Sun., Dec. 11 at 1600 Erbes Road, Thousand Oaks.

The 80-voice choir is directed by Danna Southwell, a past president of the Conejo Valley Music Teachers Association and a piano teacher. Grant Brimhall, former city manager of Thousand Oaks, will serve as narrator.

The concert will feature a youth brass ensemble, wind and string accompaniment, men’s trio, piano and vocal duets, horn solo and the adult choir and children’s chorus performing together.
