Richmond honored by Many Mansions Celebrating community service last week, Many Mansions honored longtime supporter Cheryl Richmond with the renaming of Warrick Apartments as Richmond Terrace. As a philanthropist and former Many Mansions board president, Richmond made her mark within the nonprofit sector and contributed to the city of Thousand Oaks as well. Richmond has played a significant role in the acquisition of several Many Mansions’ properties, including the development of Stoll House, the Conejo Valley’s only transitional housing property, while serving several years as board member and now advisory committee member. Richmond’s also pioneered fundraising efforts to establish the Duck Race, an annual fundraising event that benefits Many Mansions’ children services programs. As a pillar in the Thousand Oaks Community, the philanthropist continues volunteering and serving on several boards of directors. “I believe that Many Mansions is a wonderful organization, full of dedicated and caring people, and I am proud and honored to have a small part in Many Mansions’ accomplishments and am humbled by the dedication of Richmond Terrace in my name,” Richmond said.
