TOHS band wins again
The Thousand Oaks High School (TOHS) marching band under the direction of Marty Martone won awards at a recent competition in Indianapolis, Ind.
In the Bands of America Grand National Championship, TOHS finished the competition among the top third of the bands. In addition, the band won an achievement award, the Al Castronova Esprit de Corps Award. This award recognizes participants that best exemplified the spirit and enthusiasm of marching bands.
TOHS was one of 92 bands competing at the event. There are 161 members of the TOHS marching band and color guard.
