Reagan Library displays holiday trees The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum will host a holiday exhibit, “Christmas Around the World,” through Jan. 8. The exhibit includes trees decorated to represent cultures and traditions from countries the late president visited while in office, plus toy soldiers, trains, garlands and Christmas music. The trees will be displayed inside the library as well as in the new Air Force One Pavilion. In addition to trees from Armenia, Austria, Canada, Iceland, Africa and Russia, there will be a White House tree and a Kwanzaa tree on display. Also on display will be a menorah exhibit comprised of many of the menorahs presented to Reagan while he was in the White House. The Reagan Library is serving as an official Los Angeles Police Department Toy Drive drop-off location. Visitors are invited to donate a new, unwrapped toy. Donation barrels will be available in the main lobby through Sun., Dec. 18. The library is at 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley. It is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except major holidays.
