Max Antell will be called to the Torah on Dec. 24 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. Max is the son of Iris and Marvin Antell of Newbury Park and a seventh grader at Sequoia Middle School.

Shira Dennis will be called to the Torah on Dec. 31 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. Shira is a seventh grader at Colina Middle School and the daughter of Jessica and Ricky Dennis of Thousand Oaks.
