Newbury Park Between 4:30 p.m. Nov. 11 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 13 in the 4800 block of Borchard Road, someone stole $30 from a snack shop. Someone stole property from an unlocked vehicle between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 600 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The dollar loss wasn’t reported. Vandals caused $1,500 in damages between 4:20 and 4:30 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 2500 block of Calcite Circle. Thousand Oaks Vandals caused $800 in damages between 9:30 p.m. Nov. 12 and 6 a.m. Nov. 13 in the 2300 block of Sirius Street. Between 2 and 8 a.m. Nov. 13 in the 800 block of S. Westlake Boulevard, a suspect stole a briefcase. The total loss was estimated at more than $400. Unknown vandals caused $500 in damages between 12:30 a.m. Nov. 11 and 12:15 p.m. Nov. 13 on Patafinder Avenue. At 10:15 p.m. Nov. 10 in the 1400 block of the same street, the loss was $1,500 after another incident of vandalism. A drunk driver was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 11 on the westbound Thousand Oaks Boulevard near Rancho Road. On the night of Nov. 11 in the first block of Greenmeadow Avenue, someone stole valuables from an unlocked vehicle. The loss wasn’t reported. Vandals caused $1,300 in damages between 6 p.m. Nov. 6 and 12 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 5200 block of N. Lakeview Canyon Road. Someone stole a wallet with cash and other items from an unlocked vehicle on the night of Nov. 11 in the 1700 block of County Oaks Lane. The dollar loss wasn’t reported. At 8:30 a.m. Nov. 10 in the 1400 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard, a drunk driver was arrested. Police arrested a suspect for possession of drugs and for drug intoxication at 6:15 p.m. Nov. 10 on Hillcrest Drive at Ventu Park Road. At 2 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 100 block of Skyline Drive, police arrested a suspect for drug intoxication. Westlake/T.O. Between 6 p.m. Nov. 8 and 3 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 600 block of Triunfo Canyon Road, vandals caused $130 in damages. Elks get donation to help the hungry The El Konejo Kamper Klub has donated $750 to the Thousand Oaks Elks Lodge No. 2477 toward the Elks’ Christmas basket program. Last year the lodge donated more than $5,000 worth of food and toys for the less fortunate. The recipients were suggested by Manna, the Goebel Senior Center, Catholic and Jewish charities, and Elks members who know of needy families. |
