Church to host religious musical

The Winged Lion Players will present a new musical, “As the Spirit Moves: A Broadway Revue,” at the Malibu Presbyterian Church, 3324 Malibu Canyon Road in Malibu. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Fri. and Sat., Nov. 11 and 12, and 6 p.m. Sun., Nov. 13.

This lively, fast-paced production uses 10 actors and a professional musical ensemble. A guitarstrumming storyteller, the Archangel Gabriel, guides the audience on a journey of life and faith using 18 Broadway show hits. The show is appropriate for all ages.

The musical is conceived and directed by TV writer and producer Valerie Mayhew.

A suggested donation of $15 for adults and $10 for students is requested. Parking is free.
