KCLU radio sets new fundraising record National Public Radio StatioKCLU set a new fundraisinrecord of more than $200,00during its annual fall membership drive, held Oct. 13 through 22. The drive’s success is credited to the station’s more than 70,000 listeners throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, according to KCLU General Manager Mary Olson.

More than 200 listeners contributed to the new program development fund added to this year’s membership drive, which will enable the station to further develop local news programs, documentaries and other special segments.

“We are absolutely thrilled by the outpouring of support from our listeners and dedicated volunteers,” said Olson.

Located on the California Lutheran University campus, KCLU FM is in its 11th year of operation. KCLU broadcasts at 88.3FM in Ventura County.
