Concert at Cal Lutheran University to feature art songs, chamber music

The Oaks Chamber Singers will perform a concert of art songs, chamber music and the Schubert Mass in G at 7:30 p.m. Sat., Nov. 12 in Samuelson Chapel on the campus of California Lutheran University, 60 W. Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks.

Tickets range from $16 to $20 and are available by calling (805) 499-1913.

Performing the art songs will be soprano Bonnie Bowden and baritone Joe Ehlinger. Composers include Lehar, Grieg, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.

Annette Murphy is the music director, and Jean Sudbury is the concertmaster. The Royal Oaks

Chamber Orchestra will accompany the singers.
