Turn clocks back on Sunday
2005-10-27 / Front Page
It’s time to get back that hour we lost last spring when we turned our clocks forward for daylight-saving time.
Standard time returns at 2 a.m. Sun., Oct. 30 when clocks should be turned back one hour.
Starting in 2007, daylight-saving time will be in effect for an extra month. According to the federal government, daylightsaving time saves energy.
The state of California several years ago wanted year-round daylight-saving time because of the energy crisis.
Please enjoy your extra hour this weekend.
