Rabbi to lead study of Bible

2005-10-27 / Faith

Rabbi Moshe D. Bryski will begin his 13th year of teaching the Bible at 12:30 p.m. Wed., Nov. 2 at the Conejo Jewish Academy, 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills. The study group will meet weekly on Wednesdays and study “The Thirteen Attributes of Mercy.” Admission is free, and a dairy lunch follows the one-hour class.

The class studies the Torah, the five books of Moses, verse by verse and discusses the literal meaning as well as the moral lessons and implication for the contemporary age.

“My goal is to make the Torah a relevant guide to living life as a Jew. It is a gift from God and each of its words are sacred and full of meaning.”

All of the study groups led by Bryski have received accreditation by the Bureau of Jewish Education.
