Church to host Harvest Festival

Newbury Park First Christian Church is hosting its annual Harvest Festival from 5 to 9 p.m. Mon., Oct. 31.

Everyone is invited to the festival, which will take place at the church, 801 Knollwood Drive in Newbury Park.

The Harvest Festival is free, including admission, game booths, bounce houses, a ferris wheel, a tsunami slide, face painting, a climbing wall, crafts, goodies and more.  Entertainment will be provided by the Crossfire Band. Costumes are welcome, and hotdogs and other food will be available for purchase.

“Our Harvest Festival is a great, safe alternative way for families to have fun together on Halloween,” said Ken LaMont, family life pastor. “It gives us an opportunity to reach out to the community with a full evening of wholesome entertainment. Our church families have worked together to make this festival the best one yet. Even our kids are working on it.”

The church is between Knollwood Drive and Reino Road, just north of Lynn Road.

Parking is free and can be accessed from either Reino or Knollwood.

For additional information, please call the church office at (805) 498-2129.
