Libraries to sell books, CDs at fundraiser

The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library will sponsor a used book sale from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Fri., Nov. 4 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Nov. 5 at the Newbury Park Branch Library, 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park. The sale will feature more than 10,000 books ranging in price from 25 cents for children’s books to $1 for hardbacks.

The library recently received a donation of nearly 2,000 new, unopened music CDs from classical to contemporary, country to pop, and will be offering these for sale at $3 each.
