Ruby Ruth Strickland Assemblywoman Audra Strickland (R-Thousand Oaks) and former Assemblyman Tony Strickland announce the birth of their first child, Ruby Ruth Strickland.  Ruby Ruth was born at 11:57 a.m. Sat., Oct. 15, weighing 8 pounds and measuring 21 inches.

Both mother and baby are healthy and strong. The birth took place at Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks.

Following former Assemblymembers Jackie Speier and Martha Escutia, Audra Strickland is the third legislator to have a baby during her term in the legislature.

Strickland represents the 37th Assembly District, including the communities of Camarillo, Chatsworth, Fillmore, Los Angeles, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Oak View, Ojai, Piru, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Somis and Thousand Oaks.
