Free concerts at Pepperdine

The Pepperdine University Fine Arts Division will present a series of free music department performances from October through December on the campus at 24255 Pacific Coast Hwy., Malibu.

Following are some of this fall’s musical presentations.

At 7:30 p.m. Tues., Oct. 4, the Pepperdine University Choirs under Milton Pullen, music director and conductor, will perform in Stauffer Chapel. At 7:30 p.m. Sun., Oct. 16, Ken McGrath (percussion) will bfeatured in a faculty recital in Raitt Recital Hall. At 7:30 p.m. Tues., Oct. 18tenor Henry Price will be featured in another faculty recital in RaitRecital Hall. At 7:30 p.m. Mon., Nov. 21the Pepperdine Jazz Ensemble conducted by Brian Scanlon wilperform in Raitt Recital Hall. At 7:30 p.m. Mon. and Tues.Dec. 5 and 6, the Pepperdine Chamber Ensembles under coordinator Sara Banta will perform in Raitt Recital Hall. The concertwill feature a chamber music repertoire performed by Pepperdine’s string and wind ensembles
