Fred  Bustillos  of Ventura  County  Sheriff’s Department gets a little advice from his caddies, Ben I and Ben II from the K9 unit, as he works his way out of a sand trap at the inaugural K9 Golf Tournament at Sterling Hills Golf Club. The cost of training a dog, including initial purchase, is about $9,000. Food, training, equipment and veterinarian bills  are paid by fundraisers and donations.
