Thousand Oaks

At 1:30 p.m. Sept. 4 at U.S. Bank in Vons supermarket in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles, a Hispanic male in his early 30s (5-11, 170-180), approached the teller and opened his day planner, which contained a gun, and demanded money. An investigation is underway.

Police arrested someone for possession of drugs and drug intoxication at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 5 on Thousand Oaks Boulevard at Pleasant Way.

At 3 a.m. Sept. 4 on Thousand Oaks Boulevard at Moorpark Road, police arrested a suspect for drunk driving.

Vandals caused $700 in damages at 6:40 p.m. Sept. 2 on Thousand Oaks Boulevard at Rancho Road.

Police arrested a drunk driver at 2 a.m. Sept. 1 on the northbound 23 Freeway just north of Avenida de Los Arboles.

Between 8 p.m. Aug. 31 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 1 in the 4100 block of Cresthaven Drive, vandals caused $150 in damages.

At 3 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 2200 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard, police arrested a suspect for possession of burglar tools and drug intoxication.

A suspect stole a gym bag from an unlocked locker and used the keys in the bag to take a vehicle at 3 p.m. Sept. 1 in the 2500 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The dollar loss wasn’t reported.

On Aug. 31 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, someone burglarized a commercial building. The dollar loss wasn’t reported.

At 12:10 a.m. Aug. 31 in the first block of E. Lucero Street, someone broke a mailbox off its post. The damages weren’t reported.

Vandals caused $1,000 in damages between 6 p.m. Aug. 31 and 6 a.m. Sept. 1 in the 900 block of Ranch House Road.
