Speaker to discuss new lupus treatment

Dr. Boris Ratiner of Rheumatology Therapeutics Medical Center, Tarzana will discuss “What is new in lupus treatments and research” at the next meeting of the Conejo Valley Lupus Support Group. The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tues., Sept. 6 at the East Campus of Los Robles Hospital, 150 Via Merida, Westlake Village.

Ratiner teaches at the Northridge Hospital Family Practice Residency Program and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and sits on both the board and planning committees of the Arthritis Foundation.

The Conejo Valley Lupus Support Group meets from 6 to 8 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month. The focus of the group is to teach patients how to effectively live with lupus.
