Celebrate grandparents at upcoming event

VITAS Innovative Hospice Care® of Los Angeles and Ventura counties, Hospice of the Conejo and Park Place Village will host a memorial service on Sat., Sept. 10 to coincide with National Grandparents’ Day.

“Remembering Our Grandparents,” open to anyone who wishes to honor a grandparent who has died, will be presented from 10 a.m. to noon at Park Place Village, 903 Carmen Drive, Camarillo. Celebrants are invited to reflect and share personal experiences, including the stories, insight, heritage and humor passed down from their grandparent(s).

Activities for adults and children ages 3 years and older will follow the service. Those attending are encouraged to bring photographs of their grandparents.
