Called to Torah at Temple Etz Chaim

The following youth were called to the Torah at Temple Etz Chaim, 1080 Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. Rabbi Richard Spiegel and Cantor Pablo Duek officiated at the ceremonies.

Briane Seligman, the daughter of Karen and Howard Seligman of Thousand Oaks, was called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah in a B’not Mitzvah with her sister Danna on July 30. Briane is a GATE and honor student in the eighth grade at Sycamore Canyon Middle School in Newbury Park. Her sister Danna is one year older than she is.

Josh Aaron Lefkovitch, the son of Barry and Meryl Lefkovitch of Thousand Oaks, celebrated his Bar Mitzvah on Aug. 20. He is an eighthgrade honor student at Colina Middle School in Thousand Oaks.

Rebecca Long, the daughter of Amy and Tim Long of Thousand Oaks, will celebrate her Bat Mitzvah on Sept. 10. She is an eighth-grade honors student at La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks.
